My Take on ColorBar Lip Pot Lip Color

I make no secret to the fact that I am a huge fan of Colorbar Lip Glosses, so when Colorbar came up with its new Lip Pot Lip Color I couldn’t resist my urge to give it a try. As usual I gave into my temptation and bought this lip pot in coral crush. It is a wonderful warm toned coral shade with a peachy undertone that looks pretty sumptuous.

The lip color has a creamy gel like texture and the color spreads evenly with a brush for a fabulous finish. It feels more like a lipstick with a fairly nice glossy finish and rich color and that too without being overtly sticky. I must say the product absolutely lives up to the rosy claims by Colorbar.  It did not dry out my lips and felt extremely comfortable. As you might expect, I was in love with this amazing lip color from the very first application.

The best thing about the product is that it has excellent pigmentation and therefore a little product is enough to give a sexy plush color. The color pay off is amazing and with just a single swipe of brush it gets a rather opaque color that comes off beautifully on your lips. One thing that impressed me the most about this lip color is that it has incredible staying power. Although, the glossy sheen lasted for just two hours or so, the non transferrable matte color stayed on for more than five hours without any smudging or bleeding.

It comes in a classy silver packing and the product is sealed in a cute, small jar. The only pitfall is that you need a brush for application and that does not come handy with this jar.
