Myth No. – 1
Hair Shouldn’t Be Shampooed Everyday
This is utter non sense, a bit fat myth! Washing hair is essential before it develops dirt and grime! And this could lead to hair fall. Moisturized based shampoos are good; using harsh products like soap can really harm your hair killing the texture and shine. Shampoos are nothing but cleanser and as long as they are mild, you can use them every day!

Regular Oiling Can Lead Retain Hair’s Health
Yes, oiling the mane is necessary but external lathery cannot protect your hair from getting damaged! Moreover, oil has a tendency to draw dust and dirt becoming the breeding ground of several infections. I would suggest you to oil your mane for about 40-45 minutes a week and then wash it off with shampoo.
Myth No. – 3
Hundreds Hair Brush Strokes Will Keep Hair Healthy
I mean, really….someone actually made it up! I remember doing this as a child…not only my hand pained pathetically; I managed to shred 100 hairs in every ten strokes!! So, it is better not to follow such a lame fable.
Myth No. – 4
Cutting Your Hair Will Let It Grow Faster
How can chopping off hair can make it grow faster? It’s not a lawn…stop mowing! Cutting your long lovely tresses will only do one thing- MAKE THEM SHORTER! Nothing else! Untrimmed hair begins to develop split ends which need to be removed with regular trimming. Not cutting.
Myth No- 5
Hair Shouldn’t Be Combed When It Is Wet
Yes sweeties, this happens to be a myth too. If wet hair is not combed, it will develop tangles and that will lead to breakage! Make sure to use conditioners to avoid any sort of hair breakage!
Do not blindly follow anything you read! If it’s not even logical, how can it be practical?! Give it a thought!
