It is highly recommended that you should only shave after you have applied a lubricating lotion may it be a cream, gel or foam. By lubricating you serve the purpose of moistening your hard skin rendering a smooth and clean shave.
Don’t Hasten Up:
Many people often shave when they are short of time to reach their work place on time. Doing shaving in a hurry end up in cuts and nicks, that are mostly minor but sometimes they can be even major. So take your time and shave easily and properly.
Tracking the Correct Path for Razor Movement:
This is an important aspect that often goes neglected. The direction in which you move your razor can play a major role for you to achieve that brilliant shave. It is always good to move the razor in the direction going in sync with the root of your hair rather than going against it. Going against the direction will cause bumps and don’t forget that men who have sensitive skin are more prone to bumps.
An Electric Razor:
Men who wake up in the morning and feel tired of shaving can go for an alternative shave. Well that is by the use of an electric razor which reduces the effort which you have to put in while using the razor.
After Shave:
Once you have shaved you should wash your face with cold water and pat it dry using a clean dry towel. Once dried apply a gentle after shave moisturizer or lotion that contains natural ingredients like vitamin E, aloe vera and shea butter. This after shave lotion will help your skin to get hydrated besides giving it medication to cuts and nicks it has faced during the shave.
