Shampooing followed by conditioning is a no-brainer technique. You will believe me when you’ll read further. Only then you’ll switch the order of washing your hair.
But what really are the benefits of conditioning your hair before shampooing? Check it out now…
If you have fine and limp hair, then this technique is a must for you. Doing the conditioner before the shampoo will not weigh down your hair with the conditioner. Your hair will not look limp and will have a bounce.
To get the best of this technique, follow this step-by-step technique.
Step 1: First of all, detangle your hair using a wide-toothed hair brush. Wet your mane completely with water. applying conditioner in dry mane can be messy.
Step 2: Take coin-sized conditioner in your palms and apply it on your hair along its length. Don’t apply the conditioner to your scalp.
Step 3: After covering your mane entirely with conditioner. Tie your hair in a lose bun and cover it with a shower cap. Let it sit on your hair for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Don’t rinse the conditioner. This might seem the obvious thing to do, but doing so will make your hair dry and tangled.
Step 5: Spray some water on your hair to make it moist. Take some shampoo and start working it into your scalp. Lather it well in your scalp and then rinse your hair.
Step 6: Squeeze the excess water from your mane and then wipe your hair using an old t-shirt. Let it dry naturally in air.
You will see that your mane has become more bouncy and shiny.
