1. Ginger: Ginger is known to reduce inflammation of blood vessels in your head. It provides immediate respite from a headache when consumed. You can also take ginger regularly to prevent further headaches. Take a fresh ginger and extracts its juice with the help of a grater. Add 2 teaspoon of lemon juice to it. Drink this concoction twice daily to prevent headaches. Ginger candies which are available in the market can also be consumed. You can also boil ginger in a water and inhale the steam to get ginger infused in your blood stream.

2. Cinnamon: Cinnamon is also said to be an effective remedy for a headache. You can use the cinnamon by grinding some of its sticks in a grinder to get a fine powder. Add some water to the powder to make a paste. Apply this paste on your forehead and lie down for 30 minutes. Later on, wash it off with lukewarm water.

3. Cloves: this is yet another remedy to get rid of pesky headaches. They are effective at easing throbbing headache due to their cooling and pain relieving properties. Using clove for headache remedy is very easy. You can crush few cloves and put them in a clean handkerchief. Keep the handkerchief with you and inhale the cloves until you get relief from the throbbing pain.

4. Chamomile Tea: Chamomile tea is said to be having compounds which are known to cure and prevent headaches. You can get chamomile tea bags in the market easily. Have a cup of chamomile tea and bid farewell to stubborn headaches. If you don’t find its taste quite well, then you can add honey to enhance it.
