  • Condensed milk- 200 gm
  • Ghee- ½ tbsp.
  • Milk powder- ¾ cup
  • Saffron- a pinch
  • Nutmeg- a pinch
  • Cardamom- 3-4

  1.  In a microwave safe bowl, mix the condensed milk, milk powder and the ghee. Make sure that there are no lumps in the mixture.
  2.  Cook the mixture in the microwave for a minute on high.
  3.  Crush the cardamom seeds to make a fine powder. Add the cardamom powder, saffron and nutmeg powder in the heated condensed milk mixture and stir.
  4.  Again cook the mixture on high for a minute. Take out from the microwave. Stir and cook again for 30 seconds.
  5.  You have to repeat this stir and cook process several times till the mixture is thick. Though it should not take more than three minutes to get the right consistency.
  6.  Once you’ve got the right consistency, let the mixture cool down a bit (till it is warm) and then shape the mixture into small balls or pedas. Apply some ghee on your hands to avoid the stickiness.
  7.  Once all the pedas are shaped and cooled, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  8.  Eat them whenever you want to.
